Type 2/600 Acoustic Louvre
This is a factory assembled, high performance, and half chevron acoustic louvre.

The product is made up of a combination of materials. Perforated blades, aluminium, Colorbond or zincalume components with acoustic rated absorptive blade infill material. Maximum span of each module should not exceed 1500mm to 2400mm dependant on terrain conditions.
Type 2/600 is available in modular form, but can be engineered to fit custom sized openings to suit requirements.
The louvre provides a high level of weather protection for a single stage louvre. The design, angle and length of blade limit water ingression. Water drains via the sill.
The Type 2/600 will provide a high level of noise reduction. Please see above insertion loss test results for performance.
Free area ranges between 17% (2 blades) to 24% (7 blades) depending on height and width of the louvre.
Where louvres are to be installed into steelwork, allow 3mm clearance all round the louvre. Where louvres are to be installed into brickwork, allow 6mm clearance all round the louvre.
Louvre widths are available from 500mm to a maximum of 2400mm. Where larger openings are involved, use multiples of suitably sized units.
Free Inlet Area and Pressure Drop
In the design of any ventilation system, the pressure drop through the louvres is one of the critical performance considerations and louvre free area is not meaningful in itself.
The exact percentage of free area to the overall louvre face area is a function of height and width and can be calculated quite simply. Refer to your nearest EAV representative for details. For the actual pressure drop through the louvres, refer to the appropriate pressure drop chart.
Type HC305, Type 1/600, Type 2/600 ONE STAGE Acoustic Louvres.
Product shall be Email Ventilation Acoustic Louvre-Type HC305, Type 1/600 or Type 2/600 available in modular form. The louvre consists of a single blade conguration in half chevron design. Materials include perforated Colorbond, zincalume, or aluminium and acoustic rated noise absorptive blade inll. Modules are manufactured at 1500mm to 2400mm span centres for strength and support. Louvre shall perform to required speci- cations for noise and weather reduction. Finish is to be mill, powder coated,galvanised or anodised to specied colour.
HC615 TWO STAGE Acoustic Louvres.
Product shall be Email Ventilation Acoustic Louvre (Type HC615) available in modules placed back to back for increased weather and acoustic performance. The louvre consists of a dual blade conguration in full chevron design. Materials include perforated Colorbond, zincalume or aluminium and acoustic rated noise absorptive blade inll. Modules are manufactured at 1500mm to 2400mm span centres for strength and support and contain at least one water channel at the end of each blade. Louvre shall perform to required specications for noise and weather reduction. Finish is to be mill, powder coated, galvanised or anodised to specied colour.
